Child or Brat?
"It tells us in Mark 10:15, "Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the Kingdom of God like a child, shall not enter it." If I asked you, are you a child of God, or a brat of God, what would you say? Remember a child, takes what a parent gives them. A brat whines when what they're given, is not what they wanted. A child depends on the parent for everything. A brat only goes to a parent when they want something. A child does what the parent says. A brat does what they want. A child runs to the parent and wants to be with them. A brat waits until they're called. A child is open to help and to advice. A brat refuses to accept help. A child admits when they've been wrong. A brat blames everyone else when they're in trouble. Too often, speaking for myself, I'm more of a brat than a child. What are you this day? Remember, as it tells us in Mark, heaven is for the children."
