(Vatican Radio) Pope Francis has expressed his condolences after a deadly riot in a Mexican prison that left dozens of people dead.In a telegram addressed to the Archbishop Rogelio Cabrera López, Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin said the Holy Father was “deeply saddened” by news of the incident, which occurred on the eve of the pontiff’s visit to the country.Pope Francis is offering prayers for the eternal rest of those who died in the violence, the Cardinal said.
