Insecurity is something we've all dealt with. It's normal to doubt our abilities or how equipped we are to take on some challenge life has set before us. Oftentimes, the preferred advice society seems to give in these situations is to, "believe in yourself". This is not necessarily a bad thing. A healthy amount of self-confidence is important. However, our ability to fulfill the will of God in our lives isn't ultimately dependent on how much we think we can handle the road He's laid before us. Our hope should be rooted in His abilities, not our own. He is always faithful and won't abandon us no matter how difficult the task. Our God a big God even when we feel small and insecure.
