Matt 10:26-27
"Therefore do not be afraid of them. Nothing is concealed that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known. What I say to you in darkness, speak in the light;"
I can only ask that we all pray for peace. Fear and cynicism will only bring doubt and indecision. From Pope Francis:
"Prayer brings a way from closure to openness, from fear to courage, from sadness to joy, and added, from division to unity". I have been praying the prayer of St Francis.
"Lord let me be an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is doubt, faith; where there is injury, pardon; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. Oh Divine Master, grant that I may not seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love; for it is in giving that we receive, in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life."
