Church is for everyone"Have you ever looked at a loved one, a friend or a family member and invited them to go to church with you and their response is "Oh, oh I could never walk into church, that place would fall down if I walked in." That shows such a misconception of our world today, and of what the church really is. The church is not a museum for saints, but a hospital for sinners. A place where Christ is the surgeon, waiting to heal every wound and every affliction we bring to His feet in humility. This week, help those around you who feel unworthy, who feel worthless in the eyes of the world, in the eyes of God, help them to see their worth, just as Christ sees worth in you and in me. It tells us in 1 Thessalonians 2, "Lead a life worthy of God, who calls you into His own kingdom, in His own glory." Lead them back to the hospital, where Christ can heal. God sees worth in our unworthiness, and thank God for it."
