(Vatican Radio) Pope Francis sent telegrams to the leaders of Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Hungary, and Slovakia, on Wednesday, as his flight from Rome to Krakow traveled through each country’s airspace. All but one of the telegrams – that sent to Italian President Sergio Mattarella – were in English.
