(Vatican Radio) Preparations for World Youth Day 2016 in Poland are gathering pace. The World Youth Day symbols, the Holy Year Cross and the copy of an icon of Our Lady Salus Populi Romani are due arrive May 20th in the Archdiocese of Krakow.The symbols will be brought to the sanctuary of Pope Saint John Paul II in Krakow, where at 5:00pm local time Holy Mass will be presided over by Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz.They are expected to visit over 200 churches and 50 schools as well as a number of prisons and hospitals ahead of the WYD celebrations celebrations to be presided over by Pope Francis at the end of July.
