India on Thursday celebrated 68th Republic Day with patriotic fervour. On this day it marks  the anniversary of  its constitution coming into effect on Jan 26, 1950.The annual celebration included floats from the various Indian states and its defense and police forces. These display a  rich culture and heritage of India.The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, was the chief guest of honour at this year's Republic Day parade.
