My Spirit FM 90.5 | Hurricane Irma

The storm has past and so the recovery begins across Tampa Bay. Find relevant and updated information below.

Disaster Relief Donations

The Tampa Bay area was blessed to be spared the full force of Hurricane Irma, but other areas of Florida and the Caribbean have been severely impacted.

Your donations and prayers are greatly needed to provide humanitarian and pastoral support to our brothers and sisters who were directly in the path of Irma and others storms that have devastated communities.

Also, Bishop Gregory Parkes is asking all 81 parishes and missions in the Diocese of St. Petersburg to hold a special collection the weekend of September 16-17 or September 23-24 for the needs of people affected by natural disasters including Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Harvey. One hundred percent of donations go directly to disaster relief and no funds are withheld for administrative costs.

Pinellas Hope Needs Your Help

Our friends at Pinellas Hope could use some help! They had big trees come down and need man power. They also need help re-assembling tents. And finally - they need food! They have no electricity so anything you bring has to be cooked already. If you have hamburgers or hotdogs that are defrosting, fire up that gas grill and cook em up! Or make some PB&Js and drop them off. Their phones are down, so email rsumner@ccdosp.org with questions.
